This section is intended to introduce to course and topics. Desired
outcomes:
- Students will know how to formally define an experiment.
- Students will understand the importance of performing an experiment
relative to alternative approaches to answering scientific
questions.
- Students will build familiarity with important definitions and
terminology that will be used throughout the course.
